I’ll be studying at Hanyang University in Seoul for the next semester, until december! ð
I’ve been here for 2 weeks already so I thought I’d make a little announcement since it’s a pretty important event in my life! Even if it’s temporary.
For those who didn’t know I am currently in my last year of Bachelor. I study at an IT school in Paris and I have had a part-time job (3 days a week + holidays) at french managed web hosting company.
It was not easy coming here because I had to gather all the money by myself (which I didn’t even thought was possible) and I also had to quit my job, which I liked.
I have been learning Korean for more than a year now and have been interested in this country for twice as long. I never thought I would have the chance to study abroad, but here I am! I really consider this an extraordinary opportunity.
My university, Hanyang, is insane. It’s incredibly big, so much that you’d think it’s city by itself. As far as I know we don’t have that kind of Campus in France- my school doesn’t even remotely compare. And Hanyang isn’t even in SKY.
You won’t find me.
It’s also my first time living by myself and apart from my family, which is one of the reason I wanted to do it! The food is insane, I think I’ll have to go on a diet when coming back to France…

Coincidentally, I’m in a state where I don’t know what I want to do. I have been a professional sysadmin for two years and I’m studying software engineering. However I have no idea to what job I will apply for in four months. I have some time to think about it…
In the meantime, I hope I will be able to travel outside of Seoul, probably to Jeju-do and Japan (I forgot all my japanese though…). We’ll see!
Since I have a lot of free time I also want to publish all these posts that I’ve been meaning to write for a year. But as I said above, I’m a bit lost and I’m afraid I’ll lose interest. Let’s hope not!
